The team will play 3 friendlies at Jamsil on August 4-6.

Korea will be playing the Netherlands at Jamsil on Monday (8/4). I am gonna try to head out to the game. Aaron from EWC will be there as well.

i am headed out in an hour or so. hope i can still get a ticket...

aaron and i went to all 3 games. korea beat the netherlands...then lost to cuba and then killed cuba the next night (15-3)

no fans at the game....but fun to watch.


the olympics will be interesting....the US, Korea, Japan, and Cuba....should be fun!

I went to the game last night and it was fun to see. I enjoyed Ko Y.M. hitting one out of the park as he is my favorite player on Doosan.

I was on the Cuba side as well. I was near the top row in the yellow seats. I was with the wife and wearing an away Germany football jersey. We were going to sit on the Korea side as closer seats but the sun was beaming on that side so we went over to the Cuba side. We were closer to first base so the net wasn't in the way when taking pictures.

can't believe the US keeps pitching to Dae-ho...after the HR and some hard hit foul balls and flyouts....i'd pitch around the guy...

why did they keep han ki-joo in for so long???

some friends were in from out of town. wasn't able to watch any of the canada or japan game. but will be watching the resumption of the China game tonight.

Tied up in the 4th right now....i wonder if any of the teams will hold back for this game...

korea is currently up 7-4 in the 9th inning over gold medal favorites Cuba.

Unfortunately, Korea will probably go undefeated in pool play (ala WBC), then lose in the medal rounds....it seems to never work out.

Korea wins and is in first place!

Unfortunately I have the same feeling for the Korean team, so~ I'm not going to keep my hopes up. By the look of things, it seems with Japan's loss to USA, Japan will play Korea again for the semi-finals. I'm not sure if that's what I would've liked as I feel that Korea playing different style of baseball, they have a better chance of advancing against USA as opposed to facing Japan. Also, if Korea is knocked off by Japan ala WBC *wink* coming from an undefeated record, that's gonna leave an extra bad taste in my mouth...
